PIMEX boat show primed and ready to launch this morning

PHUKET: The heat is on and all are getting ready for this week’s Phuket International Boat Show, which opens today at 11am at the Royal Phuket Marina (map here).

All of the major Thai and regional boat dealers and brokers are busy juggling yachts into position for what promises to be an excellent in-water display.

Two entries exceed the official length for Superyachts – 100 feet – and there are a number in the 75-100ft range. Sure to draw crowds of envious boat-seekers is the Azimut 105ft ‘Escapade’, which will be the biggest boat on show.

More modest yachts, power and sail, make up the list and there is something for all to enjoy.
