Miss Grand Thailand 2018 Charity Night Run raises money for bike helmets

The Miss Grand Thailand 2018 Charity Night Run Phuket was held on Saturday (June 30) night from 8pm, It started and finished at Limelight Avenue in Phuket Town and was hosted by the Phuket Governor. Norraphat Plodthong, The Governor also joined in the run.

This year’s charity event was all about working with local Phuket students and buying new bike helmets to promote road safety for the island’s young riders.

Governor Norraphat says, “There are about 3,000 runners joining in night run this year. The run started from Limelight Avenue and travelled around Phuket Town – a Fun Run of 3.5 kilometre and a Mini Marathon of 10.5 kilometres.”

“The run raised funds to purchase 3,000 helmets for our student road safety projects in Phuket. 77 beauty contestants from Miss Grand Thailand got involved in this year’s Night Run event as well. They have been great ambassadors for the event and will be welcome back to the island anytime.”
