Yo!, High Fidelity neck-and-neck

KATA: Gray skies and lighter winds marked the second day of the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta, but the fleet still found enough breeze for the Racing Class to complete three races, leaving Peter Ahern’s Yo! and Neil Pryde’s Hi Fidelity level on overall points, with eight apiece.

Meanwhile, the Pla Loma crew member injured in yesterday’s race collision, Sandra Rosewane Lee, is listed in stable condition in the Phuket International Hospital’s ICU.

The hospital reports that she is suffering from a ruptured bladder and multiple pelvic fractures.

The hospital described her prognosis as “good”, but said it would be around two weeks before she is well enough to be transferred to a hospital near her home in Singapore.

Mrs Lee was injured when Pla Loma was in collision with Blue Juice.
