Yet another Burmese savagely murdered
PHUKET TOWN: Police are conducting a murder investigation after a man, believed to be a Burmese construction worker, was found dead with his neck almost completely severed. Called by nearby residents, officers found the body face down on a pile of sand in Soi Kingkaew-U-Tid, near Rassada Port, at about 8:30 am on Thursday. The victim’s head was almost separated from his body. Police estimated that he had been dead at least eight hours. Pol Capt Anukul Nookate, of the Phuket Town police station, said, “Villagers around the area told us that the victim was a Burmese worker at a construction site. “We believe that he may have been killed elsewhere, because there was no evidence of a struggle at the scene,” Capt Anukul added. The body was sent to Wachira Phuket Hospital.
