PHUKET: The identity of a man who was found dead in Saphan Hin on Saturday evening, July 29, has now been established. The murder victim has been identified as Chin Lueyot, 33, a Phuket-based long tail boat driver. Last week, Tanakarn Wareethip, a construction worker from Tambon Rasada and a friend of Khun Chin, saw a picture in a local Thai newspaper of the dead man. He saw that the victim had a tattoo of a buffalo head on his arm, and that it resembled the tattoo of his friend. K. Tanakarn was alarmed as K. Chin had been missing for three days and his friends were searching for him. On August 3, K. Tanakarn went to the Phuket Town police station and asked to see the body of the unidentified man. After viewing the corpse at the Wachira Hospital morgue, he identified the man as his K. Chin. According to Pol Maj Songwut Khunjan, K. Tanakarn told the police that before K.
