The Phuket Gazette would like to apologize to Miss Siriporn ‘Kat’ Saenpap for any public misunderstanding or loss of reputation related to her inclusion in an online news photo of her with her former husband, Mr Yvon Van Eyseren of Belgium, who was arrested by Phuket City Police on February 17 this year.
Miss Siriporn has presented the Gazette with documentary evidence showing that she legally divorced Mr Van Eyseren in 2007. In addition, a suspect questioning report issued by case holder Pol Capt Amporn Musikphan of the Phuket City Police confirms that Miss Siriporn, as a former board member of Easy Fitness Center, was in no way responsible for her ex-husband’s actions.
Miss Siriporn presented herself to police as required and all charges against her have subsequently been dropped by the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
