Deadline for local ‘yellow pages’

PHUKET: Businesses wishing to appear in the 2008 Gazette Guide, Phuket’s ‘yellow pages’, have until 6pm on Monday, 12 November, to enter (or update) their listings.
New listings and updates received before the deadline will appear online within 48 hours and will be included in the hard-copy book for 2008, due out mid-January. New listings or updates received after the deadline will appear online within 48 hours and in the hard-copy book for 2009.
“Stale” listings, i.e., those which have not been updated for a period of 24 months, will be automatically deleted from the Guide database on 15 November.
To enter or update a listing, company owners or managers should access the form appropriate to their province at thethaiger.com/guide. (Listings cannot be entered or altered by Gazette staff.)
This year’s Guide, our eleventh edition, and by far the largest ever, will be available in all guest rooms of the island’s leading hotels from 15 January 2008. It will go on sale at retail shops across the province, and in Phang-nga, Samui and Krabi, from 18 January.
