Chalong TOT office to open soon

CHALONG: Telephone Organization of Thailand (TOT) customers living in the south of the island will be able to pay their phone bills at the new TOT office on Chao Fa West Rd from February 24. The payments counter will be open from 8 am-4:30 pm on weekdays, while other services, including applying for a telephone line and transferring numbers from one location to another, will be available from 8 am-11 am. All staff at the TOT’s Poonphol Rd branch in Phuket Town, which will close on February 21, will move into the new offices next Tuesday in preparation for the launch. All administrative employees at the Phang Nga Rd branch, also in Phuket Town, will join them, though the Phang Nga Rd branch will remain open for customer service. TOT spokesperson Boonsri Srion said, “It will be more convenient for people who live in Rawai, Kata and Karon to pay their telephone bills. “On the opening day we will give special gifts to the first 100 people who pay their telephone bills at the Chalong branch.” She added that people can also pay TOT bills at certain banks, by post or at post offices, and via the TOT website at https://www.totweb.net
