Young woman hospitalised due to infected sex toy

A randy teenage couple’s attempt to enhance their sexual pleasure while making love had an adverse effect, culminating in the female partner being admitted to the Police General Hospital with a severe infection caused by a goat’s eye ring which had been left in her vaginal canal.

A goat’s eye ring is a sex toy which is wrapped around the base of the penis to increase the strength, size, and duration of erections. The case, highlighted by a senior police medical officer, serves as a warning about the dangers of using unhygienic sexual enhancements.

The senior police medical officer at the Police General Hospital, Aran Taitanan, recently shared an alarming medical incident involving a 19 year old woman who had suffered from a foul-smelling vaginal discharge for two weeks.

Initial concerns were raised about a potential cervical inflammation, but upon examination, a goat’s eye rim, a type of sexual enhancement device, was discovered lodged inside her vaginal canal, severely infected and causing pus.

Aran emphasised the importance of informing female partners before using such devices and cautioned against the high risk of serious infections, including bloodstream infections. He stressed the potential for the goat’s eye ring to scrape the vaginal walls, creating wounds and leading to infections.

The term goat’s eye ring raised questions among the public, prompting a urological surgeon from the Sarikahappymen page to explain the concept. The device, made from rubber and adorned with bristles similar to feathers, is believed to enhance sexual pleasure by stimulating the vaginal walls.

However, the surgeon warned that such unclean items are foreign bodies that can cause irritation, inflammation, and infection if they end up inside a woman’s vaginal canal, reported Sanook.

The case has sparked a broader conversation about the risks associated with unconventional sexual practices and the importance of mutual consent and hygiene in sexual relationships. The incident underscores the need for awareness and education about sexual health and safety to prevent similar cases from occurring in the future.
