PHUKET: Men behaving like children and a little green alien found themselves stuck in some unfamiliar places this week. The alien was the only one who didn’t need to be rescued.

Oh to be young again: Man spends night stuck in child’s swing

A CALIFORNIA man was stuck in child’s swing for nine hours overnight after taking a US$100 bet with friends.

The 21-year-old man-child made a bet with friends that involved him lubing himself with laundry detergent in a vain attempt to fit into a child’s swing at Blue Rock Springs Park in Vallejo, the Times-Herald reported.

The prank, which started late the night before only ended when the park’s groundsman showed up for work early the next morning to find a young man stuck in a swing screaming. His friends had left him there all night.

Firefighters arrived on the scene with cast cutters – and no doubt a joke or two – to cut the young man free.

It is not yet known if the young man collected on his bet.

Tree eats man for being an idiot

MANKIND vs trees usually only has one winner – matches, paper, toilet roll, newspapers, the list goes on.

But in the woods of Laguna Hills, California, last week one tree wasn’t putting up with mankind’s meddling and branched out into hostage taking.

For still unknown reasons, a man climbed inside the tree – which hollows five feet below ground – and became stuck with only his body from the waist up visible to the outside world.

After screaming for help, firefighters eventually found the hapless tree hugger and using heavy machinery he was cut free after 90 minutes.

The man was uninjured in the incident but the tree sustained sizeable cuts which will leave scars for life.

The story made world headlines and should serve as a warning to others not to go barking up the wrong tree.

Alien stretches his little green legs in the Amazon

BEING an alien on a covert mission to Earth must be hard – if you get lost, who do you ask for directions?

That seems to be the dilemma one little alien encountered last week in the Amazon, Brazil.

Video footage was leaked on the internet that may answer the question of whether or not we are alone in the universe.

The video – taken by a group of British tourists – shows a little green alien figure in the background standing next to a tree with a glowing orb of light, Australia’s Courier Mail reports.

Toward the end of the video, the alien appears to arch his back as if stretching – maybe a quick a respite before his intergalactic flight back home?

Or maybe he was just lost.

In the foreground is a group of local children and tourists, adding to speculation of the videos authenticity.

The video was obtained by paranormal writer Michael Cohen and was allegedly filmed by two British tourists in the Mamaus regions of the Amazon jungle.
