Pattaya: South Korean reports taxi driver stealing valuables worth 100,000 baht

A South Korean businessman has filed an official complaint with police following a Tuesday night theft by a Pattaya taxi driver.
The mans claimed that a taxi driver fled with his bag which contained his passport, cash and credit cards.
Chon Buri police were alerted to the theft at 11.45pm and headed to meet the 25 year old South Korean. They found him waiting at petrol station on the Chon Buri bypass road in Tambon Nong Mai Daeng.
The businessman said he hired the taxi from Pattaya to Bangkok and when the taxi arrived at the gas station, the driver said he would refill gas.
The man say he went to use the toilet and came out to find that the taxi has fled, along with his belongings. He told police his bag contained a wallet with 4,000 baht cash , a computer tablet, passport, credit cards and documents. He says the assets had a value of around 100,000 baht.
The patrol policeman took the 25 year old South Korean to officially register his complaint at the Muang police station.
