Lesson in love: Jealous wife goes full throttle in mistress chase

The jealous wife of a Thai school director pursued his alleged mistress in a high-speed car chase before eventually attacking her on a road in the southern province of Songkhla.
The social media influencer Guntouch “Gun” Pongpaiboonwet shared a video on Facebook on Sunday, March 23, showing a high-speed chase between the school director’s wife and the victim. Netizens noted that the video resembled a scene from an action film, one they never expected to witness in real life.
In the footage, the white pickup driven by the director’s wife pursued the car of the victim. The incident occurred on a public road outside the Central Mosque in Songkhla, with the wife disregarding all traffic laws and ignoring other motorists on the road.
On March 24, Gun accompanied the 36 year old victim to a press conference where she revealed more details about the incident.
The victim explained that she is a teacher and previously worked with the attacker’s husband in her former workplace. On the day of the incident, the school director arranged a meeting with her at a coffee shop to discuss work matters.

However, the director’s wife followed her to the café and confronted her, accusing her of having an affair with her husband.
Fearing for her safety, the teacher left the scene in her sedan. The wife then chased her down, ramming the back of her car, causing the teacher to sustain injuries.

The teacher parked her car on the side of the road. The attacker then rushed to her vehicle, yanked off the windshield wiper, and struck her car window with it. The teacher remained inside her car and reported the incident to the police.
The school director then requested that she leave the car and speak calmly with his wife. She complied but was attacked by the woman until the police arrived to intervene.

The teacher revealed that the jealous woman had previously assaulted her in her place of work, mistakenly believing she was her husband’s mistress.
The attacker reportedly slapped her in the face in front of other school workers who also believed in the attacker’s affair claim.
She admitted the school director had sent her a heart emoji but she had no romantic interest in him and only communicated with him for work purposes.

The teacher also claimed that the woman had been harassing and threatening her with a gun for over a year, but the latest incident was the most severe.
According to the teacher, local police officers had failed to process the case, despite numerous reports. She alleged that the police dismissed her claims, saying the attacker was an influential person in the area. This led the teacher to turn to Gun for help.

Gun condemned the high-speed chase and threats as violent and promised to ensure justice for both parties. He urged the school director’s wife to provide evidence of the alleged affair if she had any.
