Foundation donates wheelchairs to disabled individuals in need
The Pure Hearts Foundation collaborated with the Ministry of Labour to uplift the spirits of disabled people in Nakhon Ratchasima by donating wheelchairs.
The Pure Hearts Foundation, led by Chairperson Theerarat Nawamawat, joined forces with the provincial labour office, employment office, the director of Skill Development Institute 5, and the Thai Smile Group public relations team in Nakhon Ratchasima to provide essential support.
This initiative took place yesterday and aimed to distribute wheelchairs to disabled individuals in the province.
Theerarat explained that the foundation received a request for wheelchair donations from the provincial labour officer, Papinya Thongsomchit.
The donations were intended for two individuals, 71 year old Sakorn Napaskul, a bedridden patient with multiple chronic illnesses residing in Pho Klang, Mueang district, and 14 year old Somchai Chuangsamlom, a child affected by polio since birth living in Hua Thale, Mueang district.
The foundation received the wheelchairs from the Thai Smile Group, known for its electric public transportation services.
The Pure Hearts Foundation’s mission revolves around providing aid to the elderly, disabled, and underprivileged. This donation drive aimed to alleviate the hardships faced by these individuals, by offering them much-needed support and encouragement, reported Khaosod.
The foundation’s activities align with its objective of contributing to community welfare and societal benefit. The donation of wheelchairs is particularly significant for elderly and disabled individuals who struggle more than others in their daily lives and require such assistance.
The foundation’s ongoing efforts and the support from the public and private sectors demonstrate the power of collective action in addressing social challenges.
This initiative in Nakhon Ratchasima is a testament to the foundation’s dedication and the positive impact it seeks to achieve. The continued support and donations from the community are vital in enabling the foundation to carry out its mission and extend its reach to more individuals in need.
