Ceremony at Wat Kham Chanod reveals lucky numbers in sacred water
At Wat Kham Chanod in Udon Thani’s Ban Dung district, a ceremony was conducted to seek blessings and prosperity, coinciding with a significant Buddhist holy day. Although fewer tourists visited the site compared to weekends, the ritual drew attention, particularly due to auspicious numbers believed to bring luck.
The ceremony took place yesterday, February 26, aligning with the Buddhist holy day of Wan Phra, at the Kham Chanod Island. Despite the reduced number of visitors, the ritual to honour Phor Pu Sri Sutho and Mae Ya Sri Pathumma captured interest.
Among those involved, one person sought blessings for their birthday. The ceremony was conducted in their absence, as they were overseas, but they participated via a live-streamed video.
During the ceremony, participants observed numbers within a sacred water bowl, which is traditionally believed to predict lucky lottery numbers. The numbers 7, 1, 6, and 9 appeared to be formed by candle wax, while incense sticks revealed the numbers 712 and 217. These figures are anticipated to be lucky for the upcoming March 1 lottery draw.
Lottery sellers near the Kham Chanod site reported a surge in demand for double-digit numbers. In particular, these combinations have become quite popular among buyers, reported KhaoSod.
Another combination, 259, has sold out rapidly, though its origins remain unclear. As the lottery draw approaches, these numbers continue to be in high demand among hopeful participants seeking good fortune.
In similar news, lottery enthusiasts are eagerly searching for lucky numbers ahead of the third lottery draw of 2025, scheduled for February 16. To enhance their chances, many are reviewing previous lottery results from February 16 over the past decade.
In the February 16, 2024 draw, the first prize number was 941395, with 43 as the two-digit number. The three-digit numbers preceding were 056 and 330, while the three-digit numbers following were 375 and 587.
