2020 has been one of the most disruptive years in history, certainly for anyone that has lived since the great depression and the world wars. But although Covid-19 has been the big headline for the year, there has still been highlights and big news in all fields. Putting 2020 to bed we now look to 2021. A lot of people will want to kiss the last year goodbye and hope that a new year will bring new hope and an end to the turmoil of the past 12 months.

But the start of the new year is just a calendar date and the truth is much of what happened in 2020 is just the entré for what is to follow. As far as the Covid-19 pandemic is concerned, whether you think it’s a real health scare or not, it will continue to define world events over the next 12 months.
