Video Report: Boat Arcade to open next month
PHUKET: With a lot of activities for children and their doting parents, the brand new Boat Arcade, branding itself as the ‘East Coast Edutainment & Family Center’, expects to be a smash hit when it opens its doors next month.
The two-storey, high-street style shopping, dining and edutainment complex is dedicated to the island’s international community. Located at the Boat Lagoon Marina, the facility is in an ideal location to continue to build the marina as a lifestyle destination.
“Our aim is to satisfy the growing demand in the international community for a convenient place for all the family – a community mall where kids can learn and play in a safe environment, while adults enjoy shopping, relaxing and dining in style,” Deputy Managing Director of Boat Development Company Boon Yongsakul said.
Children will be able to participate in creative activities with the availability of music courses, art classes and even martial arts.
A new indoor adventure playground is also available for little ones who just want to explore.
Professionally-run learning centers at the arcade include Babies Genius; a branch of Phuket Academy of Performing Arts; Yu Music Academy; and London English, which offers language courses and a range of business and hospitality-related training courses.
However, a healthy mind is not the only thing residents and visitors will be able enjoy. Yoga classes at Pran Yoga Center will be available, as well as dental services by The Sea Dental clinic.
“The new Boat Arcade is a perfect place for parents in the central and eastern districts of Phuket to meet friends and take their kids on play dates that are fun and educational,” said Kanittha Prasopsirikul, managing director of ‘By Kanittha’ Company and Boat Arcade public relations representative.
Many cosmopolitan eateries have also joined the venue, with selections including Grand Italia Gelato, Wooden Spoon Coffee & Bakery, Cults Burger and Hock Noodles & Dim Sum Bar.
Offering quality shopping will be boutiques Saona and Katerina Beach Lifestyle. Additionally, imported products are already available at Villa Market.
