A team of officers, led by Pol. Lt. Col. Witoon, quickly made their way to the crime scene, accompanied by medical personnel from Somdet Phra Yupparat Den Chai Hospital, forensic investigators from Phrae, and rescue volunteers from the Den Chai Rescue Association. The urgency was due to the reported involvement of a suspect under the influence of drugs.

Upon arrival, the lifeless body of Thuangthing Sri-amporn was found lying in a pool of blood on the house’s steps. The victim was dressed in a black tank top and shorts, with visible injuries on his body. His head had two wounds, his forehead had two more, one on his lip, another on his right thigh, and one on his neck, totalling eight wounds.

The perpetrator, 50 year old Wutthisak Sri-amporn, identified as the victim’s son, was apprehended at the scene. He had used an axe to fatally wound his father.

Wutthisak was subsequently taken into custody by the police. During the investigation, relatives disclosed that Wutthikorn was the fourth child in the family and had a history of drug addiction, often leading to violent outbursts, reported KhaoSod.

Yesterday, December 5, he was particularly agitated, claiming that his father had instructed him to poison his mother, which triggered his violent act of patricide.
