Video Report: Skal International’s “Saturday Night Fever… on a Friday!’

PHUKET: Skal International Phuket and South Thailand will hold its annual charity dinner tomorrow evening.
Dubbed “Saturday Night Fever… on a Friday!”, this year’s Skal Beach Charity Party will take place at Nikki Beach Phuket at 7pm.
In addition to cocktails, an exquisite dinner and free-flowing wine and beer, the night will feature a fashion show entitled: “Christian Develter – Art Fashion Show & Gallery”. There will also be a performance by the Skal dancers and acrobatics from Mid-Air Circus Arts, as well as live music.
“It’s going to be a wonderful night with some great music, food and fashion. Everyone will be able to
enjoy the evening, while also helping to raise money for some very worthy causes,” said Brice Borin, Regent Cape Panwa general manager and Skal Phuket chapter vice president.
The Phuket chapter of Skal International – the world’s premier travel and tourism industry group – boasts members from leading resorts on the island, making it the best in the business when it comes to organizing events.
Mr Borin hopes the event will be able to raise about 500,000 baht for four charities: Phuket Sunshine Village; Barnhem Home for Children; Phuket International Women’s Club (PIWC) scholarship fund; and Skal scholarship fund.
Skal Beach Charity Party is proudly sponsored by the Phuket Gazette and PGTV’s “Phuket Today” show, the island’s only nationally broadcast television program (aired six daily on True Visions and all local cable networks).
