Phuket’s Superkidz youth tennis is smashing

PHUKET: Over 140 talented youth athletes participated in the Chang LTAT (Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand ) Junior Championship Southern Zone No 6, contested at Phuket’s Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club, which concluded on Sunday, August 25.

Top honors of the event went to Tinnapat Tientawach (12 points), Lerdchai Ronnarong (10 points) and Tapat Paevaronkul (8 points) who become top three (3) of Thanyapura’s SUPERKIDZ TENNIS circuit.

Next up in junior tennis is Thanyapura’s 2nd SUPERKIDZ TENNIS CUP, to be held this weekend. Interested youth between 8 to 18 years old who would like to compete can download an application form at thanyapura.com (find – or click here). Entries can be sent to tslc@thanyapura.com.

There will be six age groups (8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 years old). Players aged 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 compete in the older age group. Registration fee for Thanyapura members is 400 baht and 500 baht for non-members. Trophies and awards will be awarded, while points will be accumulated in the clubs rankings.
