Bike ride to the top of Mt Everest – Raising money for Phuket Has Been Good To Us

The Ride4Ever is an epic to ride a bike to the top of Mt Everest, this Saturday. Well, sort of.

On January 19 our goal will be to raise 300,000 baht to sponsor one class and ten students at the Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation.

How are we going to do this?

Pretty simple, we will RIDE4EVER and ride to the top of Mt Everest.

The Everest Challenge ride simulates a bicycle ride on a stationary bike simulator until you climb 8,848 metres, the height of Mt Everest.

Who said it would be easy?

Le Diablo Rouge (my bike) will be hooked up to a stationary trainer and computer. The Shack has graciously jumped on board to supply us with location and goodies to keep us going.

We are estimating close to 18 hours to complete the ride and it will definitely be an EPIC Challenge.

We need your help!

We will have stationary bikes beside me during the ride so people can ride with us. We are getting people to commit to 30 minute blocks and collect sponsorship/ donations that will all go directly to Phuket Has Been Good To Us.

We want you to come and ride with us. Jump on board for 30 minutes or an hour, collect pledges or come and cheer on the team at The Shack.

To find out more contact Darren Scherbain or Sue Ultmann and help get the riders all the way up to the top of the mountain this Saturday.
