Udon Thani shop owner thanks Thao Wessuwan for lottery win
A local shop owner in Udon Thani province held a ceremonial offering in gratitude for a lottery win yesterday, November 6. The ceremony took place at the front of a sculpting shop located at house number 141, Ban Nongpan, Village 14, Nong Mek subdistrict, Nong Han district.
The shop owner, Phayao Tuthum, and her husband and relatives conducted a ceremony to give thanks in front of a 2.8-metre-tall statue of Thao Wessuwan.
The ceremony was performed because Phayao had previously made a wish to Thao Wessuwan, located in her home, asking for good fortune. She promised to set up an offering table with traditional offerings and a Bai Sri, including a dance performance by dancers from Koh Kamchanod, should her wish be fulfilled.
As it turned out, she indeed received good fortune in the latest lottery draw. She also sought further blessings from Thao Wessuwan for the upcoming lottery draw on November 16.
The host of the offering table prayed for good fortune and lit incense sticks as part of the ritual. After the ceremony concluded, attendees gathered to observe the numbers formed by the incense sticks placed on a banana stalk. An elderly woman who participated in the ceremony was particularly astonished.
The incense sticks had broken, yet the numbers 763 and 367 were visible. This discovery was particularly striking because it aligned with a dream the elderly woman had, where someone told her that the numbers for the upcoming draw would be 563 and 365. Interestingly, in a previous draw, she dreamt of someone telling her that the number 32 would be drawn, and it indeed won.
“When the incense sticks broke, the numbers were surprisingly clear, matching exactly with my dream.”
As the anticipation builds for the upcoming lottery draw, attendees and locals alike are keenly observing these spiritual signs, eagerly waiting to see if the numbers unveiled during the ceremony will once again bring them success and prosperity, reported KhaoSod.
