King Poseidon 959 debris found in front of Viking Cave
A team of Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park officers, Krabi Marine officers, Forensic Police and divers explored the debris of King Poseidon yesterday (January 15), which washed up on a reef in front of the Viking Cave tourist attraction.
The debris was about 200 metres away from where the boat exploded. All that remains is the bow and floor of the boat with the 3 engines covered in burnt marks.
The team dragged and tied up the wreckage with buoys to bring it onshore to investigate the cause of explosion.
