A 15 year old girl exposed the lewd behaviour of her 61 year old neighbour, who indecently exposed himself naked in front of her and other young girls in the Bangkok community. The man claimed he had no sexual intent and was merely feeling hot.

The teenage victim, accompanied by her mother, sought help from social media influencer Guntouch “Gun” Pongpaiboonwet after enduring the man’s indecent behaviour for a year. The girl and her mother also shared a video of the incident as evidence of their claim.

In the video, the 61 year old neighbour is seen walking naked outside his home. Even though he was wandering naked behind the fence of his property, the fence had thin iron rods, allowing others to see through and observe his actions.

The video also shows young girls in the community playing and cycling outside the man’s home when he exposed himself.

The girl’s mother explained that she and her daughter had recently moved into the community, approximately a year ago, and their home was opposite the man’s. She initially did not expect the man to behave in this manner, as he only displayed this behaviour in front of her daughter and other young girls.

The man would typically stand naked behind the fence and stare at the girl. He would immediately enter his home if the girl was with her male friends.

Mental illness

Gun brought the matter to the attention of Thungkru Police Station officers, prompting them to visit the man yesterday, September 5. The man admitted that he was the naked man in the video and also acknowledged that he enjoyed walking around naked due to the warm weather.

The man claimed he was unaware that others could see him naked and insisted he always stayed hidden at home if others were around. His family had previously warned him about his tendency to wander around naked but he could only refrain from doing so for short periods because he felt hot.

When questioned about his mental health, the man insisted he had no issues and asserted that his behaviour was not sexually motivated. Gun reported to Channel 3 that the man underwent a mental health assessment that day, and the medical team identified a potential mental illness. They plan to closely monitor his behaviour and conduct further assessments to better understand his mental health condition.

Gun added that the man’s behaviour was likely related to a mental health issue or sexual intent, rather than simply the warm weather. He noted that the video shared publicly was recorded at around 8pm, so the weather should not have been as hot as the man claimed.
