Toons Tunes – Foster the People “Sit Next To Me”

American rock band Foster the People was formed in 2009 by lead vocalist Mark Foster, lead guitarist Sean Cimino, drummer Mark Pontius and keyboardist Isom Innis, they played in small clubs across LA and didn’t find any commercial success until the release of “Pumped Up Kicks” in 2010. The song quickly became a viral success which lead to a record deal with Star Time International. The band’s debut album followed in 2011 Torches featuring the track “Pumped Up Kicks” which topped charts around the world, including number 3 on Billboards Hot Hits.

Toons Tunes for today comes from the bands third studio album Sacred Hearts Club, through Columbia Records, the song is called “Sit Next to Me”. Since it’s original release in October 2017 they have rerecorded a radio edit, acoustic version and modern rock for the bands loyal followers.
