Emergency water shut-off hits Koh Kaew and Thalang


The Phuket Water Authority (PWA) has announced today (August 6) that water supply in some areas of Koh Kaew and Thalang will be shut off as the mains pipe broke earlier today. The mains have been shut off from 9am until repair works can be completed.

The PWA says that water supply in some areas of Koh Kaew will be shutoff while work is being carried out on the mains pipes broken in Bang Jo, Thalang.

The main areas to be affected are

  • In Pa Khlok from the Heroines Monument to Pa Khlok Municipality.
  • In Sri Soonthorn from Bang Jo to the Heroines Monument.
  • In Koh Kaew from the Heroines Monument to Koh Kaew PTT gas station.
  • In Thepkrasattri from the Heroines Monument to Ford showrooms.
