Thanyapura Phuket to host Holiday Night Market
PHUKET: Phuket’s Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club (TSLC) will host a “Holiday Night Market and Festival of Lights” on Friday from 5pm onwards.
Those attending can enjoy an array of canapé delicacies, drinks from the bar and live acoustic sounds as the sun sets while awaiting the lighting of a uniquely decorated Christmas Tree at 7pm.
Also on the same evening, Thanyapura and Alliance Française Phuket are jointly launching a photo exhibition entitled “Tibetans in Exile” by award-winning photographer Agnes Dherbeys.
Agnes was recently awarded The Robert Capa Gold Medal of the Overseas Press Club for “Best published photographic reporting from abroad requiring exceptional courage and enterprise” for the red shirt uprising in Bangkok last year.
Meet her in person at The Space from 5 to 7pm. Entrance is free.
