Thailand Yacht Show sets sail today at Ao Por Grand Marina

PHUKET: The second edition of the Thailand Yacht Show (TYS) officially opens today at Phuket’s Ao Po Grand Marina, showcasing superyachts, marine toys, sailing accessories and exclusive lifestyles.
The four-day event (December 15-18), aimed at promoting Phuket as a world-class yachting and marine leisure hub, officially launches at 3pm with an opening show and tours of some of the superyachts berthed at the marina, followed by a grand opening ceremony and a “Rock D’ Deck TYS Welcome Party” from 8pm.
Daily morning cruises on the HYPE Catermaran can be booked in advance by contacting the organizers.
Friday’s attractions include tours of superyachts Lauren L, Ocean Emerald and Northern Sun from 3pm, which can also be arranged through representatives at the show.
The on-water demonstration platform will be showcasing the latest marine toys from 3pm-6pm, and at 4pm there will be the official global launch of LuxBerth, a luxury marina portal for superyachts, with a talk by CEO James Wickens.
Saturday’s entertainment includes a Supercar Convoy from 3pm to 6pm followed by more on-water demonstrations of the latest marine leisure toys on the market.
Sunday’s activities round off the event with a fashion show from 5pm to 6pm and a closing party with live world-class lounge vibes from Café del Mar from 8pm.
