Similans Visitor Totals Capped

PHUKET TOWN: A maximum of 340 daily visitor permits will be issued by authorities of the Similans National Park, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Region 4 office announced on Friday. National park officials are also urging visitors to the popular islands to refrain from discarding plastic and polystyrene food containers, the TAT said.
