Phuket telephone book launched today
PHUKET: The 2010 edition of the Gazette Guide, (Phuket’s ‘yellow pages’), goes on sale across the island and in major cities throughout Thailand this morning. Printed on traditional telephone book paper this year, the new directory contains even more information than last year, yet is half the weight of the 2009 edition.
It’s significantly lighter in price, too – 50 baht vs 120 baht last year.
A list of our retailers in Phuket, Phang-nga, Khaolak, Krabi, Koh Samui, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Chiangmai, Chiangrai and Bangkok is available here.
Bulk orders (for hotels, guest houses, apartments, travel agencies, clubs, associations, large company offices, etc) are available at substantial discounts. Orders for 20 or more copies of the book are delivered free of charge. For details, contact Guide@PhuketGazette.Net or telephone Khun Ja-Ja on 076-236555.
The new Directory also boasts almanac-type information on tides, Thai units of weight & measures (including land), calendars, embassy and consulate details, maps, emergency contact numbers and other information indispensable for foreigners living in Phuket and elsewhere in the Andaman region.
