Paying bills just got easier

PHUKET TOWN: Bangkok-based Counter Services Co has opened five counters in Phuket Town where people can settle a range of accounts, including utility bills and credit card accounts. The five counters are at: • Bo Dang, Big C supercenter (9 am-10 pm, every day); • Future AV, Tesco Lotus supercenter (10 am-10 pm, every day); • Amorn, Phang Nga Rd (Mon-Fri 8:30 am-6:30 pm, Sat 8:30 am-3 pm, closed Sundays); • Sangfa, Phang Nga Rd (9 am-7 pm, every day); and • Phuket Mobile, Yaowarat Rd (9 am-6 pm, closed Sundays). A 10-baht fee is charged on payment of each electricity, telephone or water bill. The charge for other payments, such as credit card bills, Aeon and First Choice credit facility bills, and mobile phone bills for Orange and GSM Advance, is 15 baht. Overdue bills may not be settled at these counters.
