October blood donation drive in Phuket
PHUKET CITY: The Phuket Chapter of the Thai Red Cross Society has arranged for its mobile unit to accept blood donations at the following places and times in Phuket in October.
October 15 (noon to 7pm): Tesco Lotus Phuket, Rassada
October 16 (noon – 6pm): HomeWorks Phuket, Wichit
October 29 (10am – 7pm): Tesco Lotus Phuket, Rassada
October 30 (noon – 6pm): Phuket Airport, main terminal, Mai Khao
Supplies collected will be used to stock up the National Blood Bank, Andaman Region Office now open on Rattanakosin 200 Pi Rd, near the Land Transport Office at Saphan Hin.
The event is being held to mark the 81st birthday of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Those seeking to make donations may also visit the blood bank at Saphan Hin at the following days and times:
Monday-Wednesday-Friday: 8.30am to 4.30pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 8.30am to 8pm
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 9am to 3pm
