Nabbed robbing Robinson’s

PHUKET TOWN: A Thai man in the process of robbing Robinson’s department store was apprehended after security guards found his shoes in the bathroom. The man was caught red-handed [and barefooted] trying to steal watches, mobile phones, and pagers in the early hours of the morning last Sunday. After hiding in the men’s toilet until the store closed, the thief removed his shoes and proceeded to take the elevator to the fourth floor where he opened display cases and removed the items. The guards found the man’s shoes in the bathroom and searched the building before finding him with a bag full of the stolen items. He was taken into custody and brought to Phuket Town Police Station where he confessed to the crime.
