Marine Police seek drug informants by post

PHUKET: In keeping with the central government’s three-month, all-out war on drugs, the Phuket Marine Police are encouraging informers to send anonymous tip-offs to PO Box 42, Phuket Town, 83000. Pol Maj Prasert Srikunnarath, Inspector of the Phuket Marine Police, told the Gazette, “PO Box 42 is intended to help us get information about drug dealers and addicts, especially those involved with ya bah [methamphetamine]. “We want to rid our country of all drug dealers, big and small. Anyone who has information is encouraged to send it to PO Box 42. There is no need to provide a name, and all information we receive will be kept completely confidential,” Maj Prasert said.
