PHUKET: The first Thai Airways direct flight from Frankfurt to Phuket arrived at Phuket International Airport this afternoon.
Airport Director Monrudee Gettuphan and Tourism Authority of Thailand Governor Yuthasak Supasorn greeted the passengers after they disembarked from TG 926 following its arrival at 1.30pm.
The new Frankfurt-Phuket route comprises three flights a week – Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays – on a Boeing 777.
