An unidentified man, estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old, lay unconscious nearby. He had no identification documents. The victim bore tyre marks on his abdomen, a broken left leg, and missing toes. Rescue workers and medical staff provided immediate first aid and transported him urgently to the hospital.

A white Toyota Innova with front-end damage was discovered a short distance from the crash site. The driver, 40 year old Ekachai, was present and uninjured. He remained at the scene to give his account to the police.

Ekachai explained that he was driving towards South Pattaya when another vehicle struck the motorcycle, causing it to be thrown in front of his car. Unable to brake in time, he ran over the victim. Ekachai noted that the initial vehicle responsible for the collision immediately fled the scene.

Nearby CCTV footage captured the moment when the motorcycle collided with a sidecar motorcycle, which then propelled it into the path of Ekachai’s car. Pattaya police are actively searching for the driver of the sidecar motorcycle.

Police are examining the CCTV footage to gather more information and identify the driver of the sidecar motorcycle involved in the initial collision, reported Pattaya News.
