Thai woman’s barking mad quest for justice after 2 boys cause dogs to die in car accident
A Thai woman sought justice for her two dogs that died in a car accident after two boys sneaked into her home, assaulted her dogs, and ultimately led the woman’s beloved pets to their deaths. ”
The dog owner, Maneewan Sandee, shared pictures of her dead pets and the story behind their deaths on Facebook on November 26. Her three Siberian huskies, named Jasmine, Anna, and Elsa, were somehow let out of her home in the northern province of Chiang Mai.
The dogs sprinted onto the road and collided with a passing car. Jasmine and Anna, two of the dogs, lost their lives, while Elsa stood guard over the lifeless bodies of her companions at the scene of the incident.
Maneewan expressed profound sorrow at the significant loss. Not only did she mourn the passing of her cherished dogs, but she also found herself obligated to compensate the car owner.
Seeking more information, Maneewan approached her neighbour, who had witnessed the unfortunate event. The neighbour informed her that two nearby children might have been responsible for releasing the dogs. In haste, Maneewan engaged in a conversation with the children and their families, who admitted to accidentally setting the dogs free.
The boys, aged seven and nine, told Maneewan that they had entered her home to retrieve a ball that had inadvertently ended up inside. In the process, they left the gate open, allowing the dogs to escape. Maneewan stated that he decided to forgive the boys as they issued an apology and cried. She then excused herself to bury the bodies of the two pets.
Security camera reveals truth
Maneewan checked her security camera and discovered that the story was very different from what the boys had told her.
The two boys were seen entering her home without permission. They struck her dogs with badminton bats, swung the gate open, dashed out of the house, and enticed the dogs to join them. The boys revelled and laughed at the situation.
Maneewan disclosed that other neighbours began discussing the incident with her, revealing that she wasn’t the initial target. As per her neighbours’ accounts, these same boys had previously trespassed into their homes, stealing items and playing pranks on their pets.
When they were caught, they cried and said they had only gone in to fetch a ball. The previous losses were not as big as Maneewan’s, so the neighbours just ignored the problems.
Maneewan added that the two lived in a big house, went to a good school, and their parents had good jobs and incomes.
After learning the truth, Maneewan said he would discuss compensation for her losses with the children’s parents. She said she did not want to be mean to the children, but she had to do it for the sake of justice.
