PHUKET: Rain-triggered forest floods from the Sankala Khiri mountain range have caused Narathiwat’s Sungai Kolok River to overflow and inundate riverside homes and low-lying areas in Sukhirin, Waeng and Sungai Kolok districts.
Sukhirin and Waeng were declared disaster zones yesterday.
Meanwhile, the Sri Nakarin, Muang, Khuan Khanun, Pa Phayom, Si Banphot, and Pa Bon districts of Phattalung province have also been declared as flood-disaster zones.
