Mysterious objects from sky leave Thai couple on cloud nine
A Thai couple in the southern province of Phatthalung claim that mysterious objects falling from the sky made them feel refreshed and healthier, both physically and mentally.
The couple, Wichate Siriphuwadon and Maneerat Siriphuwadon, displayed several shiny black objects of varying sizes, with a total weight of around 20 kilogrammes, to various news agencies. They revealed that they discovered the objects in their palm plantation on November 11.
The couple explained that there was heavy rain at about 2am, followed by a lightning strike on their plantation. The next morning, they went to inspect the area and found fallen trees with burn marks, as well as a pit emitting heat and smoke.
They decided to cover the pit with soil and revisited it two weeks later, November 11. Upon digging into the pit, they discovered the mysterious items, which resembled rocks. They brought the objects back to their home while awaiting an investigation by officials or experts.
Maneerat told ThaiRath that the objects cut her hands when she picked them up. She initially felt pain and heat at the wound, but the symptoms disappeared very quickly.
Maneerat stated that after storing the objects at home for a month, she felt noticeably refreshed and healthier. She reported having more energy and improved mental health.
Locals living nearby also visited the couple’s home to examine the items. Many focused on identifying numbers for the upcoming lottery draw, with several claiming to see the numbers five and three on the objects.
As of now, no government officials or experts investigated the shiny black objects. Some locals expressed concerns that the items could pose a danger to the couple and others in the area.
In a related story, a 35 year old Thai man, Wiphanon Jarkma, reported seeing a mysterious white beam of light in the sky above the Isaan province of Nong Khai yesterday, December 16. He recorded a video of the event; however, the footage was unclear due to the poor quality of Wiphanon’s old mobile phone.
Thai Rath reported that several other locals noticed the beam at the same time but were unable to capture it as it lasted only 30 seconds.
Some residents suspect the beam was a shooting star, while others believe it may relate to UFO.
