Finnish boy, attacked by dogs, released from Krabi hospital

The five year old Finnish boy, who was attacked by stray dogs at Ao Nong Beach last week in Krabi, has been released from a hospital.

His Majesty the King sent a vase of flowers and gifts to the Finnish boy over the weekend. Read more HERE.

The young boy and his family will be heading home tomorrow, along with toys and gifts that have been showered on him by locals and officials since last week’s attack by beach strays.

The boy’s father says that he is delighted with the response in Thailand and the care for his son and the family after the incident, especially from His Majesty the King and the Thai Prime Minister.

The Chief of Krabi Provincial Livestock says, “The 13 strays have been caught at Ao Nang Beach. One of the dogs has been kept and tested for rabies. We are finding other places for these stray dogs.”
