The young boy and his family will be heading home tomorrow, along with toys and gifts that have been showered on him by locals and officials since last week’s attack by beach strays.

The boy’s father says that he is delighted with the response in Thailand and the care for his son and the family after the incident, especially from His Majesty the King and the Thai Prime Minister.

The Chief of Krabi Provincial Livestock says, “The 13 strays have been caught at Ao Nang Beach. One of the dogs has been kept and tested for rabies. We are finding other places for these stray dogs.”
