470 million baht “soapy” massage venue and business up for sale in Bangkok

Properties go up for sale all time, but it’s not everyday that a large venue for sex work gets listed publicly. The owner of a “soapy” massage complex in Bangkok recently put his venue and business up for sale for 470 million baht, and the listing has gone viral. Not only will the buyer get the 5-storey venue, but they’ll also be handed over the business with a license to operate as a massage parlour and restaurant. The management team is also still employed. The owner even promised that the business will draw in 3 million baht and 6 million baht per month.

The venue on Arun Amarin Road in the capital’s Pinklao area was posted on a Facebook group for selling and buying businesses. The owner says he’s selling the business because he’s getting old, and no one is lined up to takeover. The post went viral among Thai social media. According to Daily News, someone is already planning to buy the business.

While the “soapy” massage business is widely known for its sexual services, prostitution is still illegal in Thailand.
