Amongst the topics discussed were the outlook of the hospitality industry, which complements the marine industry, as Phuket is the regional hub for marine activities. With the growing number of tourist arrivals to the island panel members shared their outlook to find mutual synergies between these two economic contributors.

Shortly after the seminar, guests were taken on a short guided tour of Phuket Boat Lagoon highlighting the new and enhanced facilities, like the newly expanded hardstand and Phuket’s latest family attraction, the Ice Arena, which is scheduled to open towards the end of November this year.
