Phuket Pads: Next stop – Layan Beach

Legacy Phuket Gazette

PHUKET: It is common knowledge that land prices on Phuket have multiplied several times over in the past 10 years, and land prices on the west coast have become out of reach for most buyers, except for large developers, hotels and resorts. The future for smaller developers and individual private buyers is inland and north of Laguna as land prices remain reasonable and competitive there at the moment – but not for long.

Next stop: Layan. With its quiet, uncrowded, unspoilt and peaceful beach and beautiful wooded surroundings, Layan has that back-to-nature feel.

One development in particular, Vichuda Hills Estate, is a prestigious and very private development of only six exclusive homes thoughtfully dispersed throughout 22,400sqm of verdant tropical landscape. It is one of the most secluded estates on the island of Phuket, enjoying magnificent scenery with incomparable views and stunning wooded hillsides sweeping down to a mature and private lake, as well as picturesque tropical gardens.

The residences have been designed to offer maximum privacy and there is 24-hour manned security to further ensure peace of mind.

This natural paradise of mature trees and rubber plantations surrounded by fields of water buffalo, provides an elegant and private oasis for relaxation and peaceful everyday living.

Set on a sloping hillside, Vichuda Hills Estate is exclusively located in an area of stunning natural beauty on the northern verges of the Laguna area. The quiet and uncrowded Layan Beach is only a stone’s throw away, and lush tropical valleys and hills form the estate’s backdrop.

This area is considered to be one of Phuket’s most prestigious, with Laguna Phuket less than five minutes away, and is home to the internationally renowned Banyan Tree resort, spa and golf course.

The Phuket International Airport is a short 15-minute drive.

Baan Twin Palms is one especially magnificent and spacious villa built in Thai style, set on three different levels and finished to a very high standard. Standing on 2.5 rai, the property is located on a sloping hillside with beautiful gardens and panoramic views of the surrounding hills.

There are four bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and private access to the gardens. There is an exceptionally spacious living area with high ceilings and a dining section, as well as a fully-equipped western kitchen. It also features a separate TV/internet room and an extremely spacious terrace area for dining and relaxing.

On the lower level there is an infinity swimming pool, a large BBQ area with full kitchen facilities, an additional leisure area, a spacious sala for relaxation and a housekeeper’s room. There is plenty of terrace space for relaxing, entertaining and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

The gardens are extensive and maintained on a regular basis. The indoor area is a total of 2,400sqm and the total area of the property is 4,000sqm.

The location is ideal and convenient for a growing family with top schools British International School Phuket and Phuket International Academy within a 15 to 20 minutes’ drive.
