Chinese tourist couple found after getting lost in Thalang jungle

Officers were searching for about four hours for a Chinese tourist couple who were lost in the Khao Phra Thaew Non – Hunting area forest in Thalang district last night.

The local Tourist Police and the Thalang Police were notified of the pair getting lost early in the evening after they called the Phuket Tourist Police. After that they shared their location on their mobile phones. Offices followed their location and found them 200 metres from the top level of the Bang Pae Waterfall.

The female tourist told police they were heading from the Ton Sai Waterfall which is about three kilometers from Bang Pae Waterfall when they became lost.
