Vachira, PRBC hold blood drive to honor HM Queen

PHUKET: Representatives of Vachira Phuket Hospital and the Phuket Regional Blood Center (PRBC) are urging people to donate blood today and tomorrow in honor of HM the Queen’s birthday under the nationwide ‘Give Blood for Mom’ campaign.

Vachira Phuket Hospital is accepting blood donations until 8pm tonight on the fourth floor of the hospital in Samkong, Phuket Town. Donors will get a ‘Give Blood for Mom’ T-shirt.

Tomorrow, the PRBC will continue the campaign from 8:30am to 3pm. Donors will receive a small plant or rice as a souvenir.

The regional blood center is located on Rattanakosin 200 Years Road in Taladnua. For more information about donating at the PRBC call 076-251 178 (ext 2).
