Phuket Red Cross blood donation schedule
PHUKET CITY: The Phuket Chapter of the Red Cross Society has arranged for its mobile unit to accept blood donations at the following places and times in Phuket and Krabi in August.
August 1 (8am to 12 noon): HM Queen Sirikit Park, Thalang Rd, Phuket City
August 3 (9am to 5pm): Bangkok Hospital Phuket, Phuket City
August 4 (9am to 12 noon): Krabi Police Station
August 7 (9am to 2pm): Krabi Governor’s Mansion
August 10 (9am to 3pm): Phuket Provincial Police Station
August 14 (10am to 4pm): Robinson’s Jungceylon, Patong (2nd floor, training room)
August 19 (9am to 12 noon): Kanjanapisek Wittayalai School, Khlong Thom, Krabi
August 20 (9am to 4pm): Phuket Wittayalai School, Thepkrasattri Rd, Phuket City
August 26 (9am to 12 noon): Krabi Klongpol School, Khlong Thom, Krabi
August 27 (10am to 4pm): Region 8 Labor Court, Damrong Rd, Phuket City
August 28 (10am to 4pm): Prince of Songkla University Phuket Campus, Kathu
August 30 (11am to 7pm): Big C Supercenter, bypass Rd, Wichit
The new Regional Blood Center, built by the Finnish Red Cross on Rattanakosin 200 Pi Rd in Saphan Hin, will also be open for blood donations starting from 8:30 on Mother’s Day, August 12.
The blood bank also accepts donations daily at its office in Vachira Phuket Hospital on Yaowarat Road, Phuket City, open Monday to Friday (8.30am to 8pm) and Saturday and Sunday (8.30am to 3pm).
As the above itinerary is subject to change, people intending to make a blood donation at any of the mobile collection clinics are advised to contact the blood bank two days in advance of scheduling a visit.
