PHUKET: The 2007 edition of the Gazette Guide, Phuket’s English-language yellow pages, has arrived and guestroom copies are today being delivered to the major four- and five-star hotels and resorts.

The book goes on sale to the general public at noon on Thursday, February 1.

The price of the directory is 140 baht. A full list of retailers in Phuket, Phang-nga (including Khao Lak), Krabi (including Phi Phi), Koh Samui, Pattaya and Bangkok is available here.

There will be a launch party at the Watermark bar and restaurant from 6:30pm to 8pm on Wednesday, January 31. On that occasion – and that occasion only – buyers of one drink will be entitled to one free copy of the directory. For further details of the launch, click here.

After the launch at the Watermark, all businesses listed in the Guide are entitled to one copy of the book at 70 baht, a 50% discount off the retail price. These copies will be available for pick-up at the Gazette offices from Thursday morning, February 1. Click here for a map.

Delivery of all complimentary advertisers’ copies is currently in progress and is expected to be completed by the close of business on Monday, January 29.

Bulk orders of the directory (for guesthouses, clubs, associations, etc) are available at discounts. Orders of 10 or more copies are delivered free of charge. Contact guide@phuketgazette.net or telephone Khun Yui on 076-236555 for details.

The 2007 Gazette Guide contains comprehensive contact details for more than 3,200 Phuket and Andaman Region businesses serving the international community. At 480 pages, it is by far the largest in the publication’s ten-year history.
