Champagne Run with ACYC
PHUKET: The Royal Langkawai International Regatta will be held from January 9 to 14, 2012 and as a lead into the event the Ao Chalong Yacht Club (ACYC) is inviting an expression of interest for the all new “Champagne Run”.
The ACYC in conjunction with the Royal Langkawai Yacht Club are organizing an overnight sailing race leaving Chalong Bay on January 7 and arriving into Telaga Harbour the next day.
Prizes will be awarded for the fastest time in Monohull and Multihull classes. Awards will also be presented to the first three arrivals in OMR and IRC.
All yacht crews will receive a bottle of champagne and a medal of participation at a presentation ceremony and dinner scheduled for 7pm on the evening of arrival at Telaga Harbour.
