For temporary protection, we have brought in fire trucks and have been conducting fire extinguishing drills to teach the basic of fire prevention and control for the future. For long-term protection we suggest all businesses should install fire extinguisher, smoke detectors and fire sprinkler systems. There must also be fire hydrants to connect water to extinguish the fire immediately in all areas as well,” said the Krabi Governor.
