PHUKET: Prachuap Khiri Khan police confirmed yesterday that the rape and murder case of a 13-year-old girl on a Nakhon Si Thammarat-Bangkok train would be handed over to the public prosecutor tomorrow.
Provincial police chief, Pol Maj-General Thanes Sunthornsuk, said the case involving train worker Wanchai Saengkhao and a 19-year-old fellow worker who allegedly acted as his lookout, would submitted tomorrow. He said police were confident that evidence was strong enough to prosecute the pair. Wanchai has already confessed to the rape and murder.
