Today, a Thai YouTuber and celebrity Sodor Style, whose real name is Pimlada Wewvitsong, visited the Royal Thai Police’s Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) in response to a summons. She was there to give her side of the story regarding her live TikTok broadcast where she revealed her experience with online gambling. According to her account, she lost more than 25 million baht in just three and a half months.

Sodor Style began her gambling journey in January this year and encountered losses throughout the experience. In one instance, she revealed that she gambled 300,000 baht in one go and ended up losing the entire sum. She wagered on three games, totalling 900,000 baht of losses. Furthermore, she talked about her betting on football matches in her live broadcast, which began to accumulate losses into the millions. At that point, Sadao Style claimed that money held no value for her and losing more led her to gamble further, sometimes making significant returns in a short amount of time. As a result, she became one of the top customers for several gambling websites during this period.

In a brief statement, Sodor Style revealed that she received a summons to testify as a witness from both the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) and the TCSD. Initially, she was uncertain about the topics the authorities would cover during her questioning, but she expressed her full commitment to cooperating with the investigation. Sadao Style did not express any distress regarding the situation.

The TCSD intends to query Sodor Style about her gambling, such as the identity of the websites she frequented, the people running these establishments, the frequency of her participation, and the sum of her money transfers. This information will aid in the expansion of the investigation.

The DSI, on the other hand, will focus on Sodor Style’s connections with Thai musicians Than Tai and an individual named Not Pantawat Nakhawisut. They will inquire as to where she gambled, with whom she played, and how the money was transferred for gambling or accounted for in transactions. Additionally, the authorities are interested in investigating the nature of her relationship with the suspects and determining whether they relate to other individuals involved in illegal activities.
